2003 Boys and 1999 Girls Win Regional Championship and move onto the US Youth Soccer National Championships
2003 Boys went thru the Round Robin games winning by three identical scores of 4-0. In the Semi-Final game, they would match up against Bethesda. This would be a rematch of a double overtime thriller of the ERL League Championship which saw Bethesda win 3-2. This time it would again see both teams play another double overtime thriller, but this time Beadling would win 3-1. That win would set up Beadling for a Championship match against the Region's #1 ranked team according to Got Soccer, the Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals. Beadling would jump out to a commanding 3-0 lead late in the second half. Ukrainians would not go away that easy, as they would strike for 2 quick goals to cut the deficit to 3-2. However, the tournaments leading Goal Scorer Jaxon Ervin, would score his 7th goal of the tournament to put the game away and send the 2003 Boys on their way to Frisco, Texas for a shot at US Youth Soccer's National Championship.
The 2003 Boys will now play for the William J. "Billy" Goaziou Cup (formerly US Youth Soccer Cup) - Under-14 Boys
The 1999 Girls went thru the Round Robin games winning 7-2, 4-0 and 2-0. In the Semi-Final game, they would match up against Syracuse Development Academy, a team they had never previously beat. Beadling would jump all over SDA early and often and would cruise into the final with a 5-0 win. This would set up another match against the FC Pennsylvania Strikers, a team Beadling was very familiar with. This game would end up being the best these two had ever played against each other. Beadling would get the scoring started on a header by Jess Frank. That lead would hold up until the 88th minute win the Strikers would tie it and send the game into Overtime. On a day where the temperature was near 100 degrees, Beadling and the Strikers would be forced to play 30 more minutes of soccer. The first overtime would end with no scoring. As the second overtime was about to expire, Regan Lavigna would find the back of the net on the last play of overtime to seal the win for Beadling and send them on their way to Frisco, Texas for a shot at US Youth Soccer's National Championship. For some girls on this team it was their 3rd straight Regional Championship
